Let it snow!

Seriously, we had snow- and not just a little skiff but a few inches on the ground. About 6 in the morning the rain turned to snowflakes and the kids woke up to find the grass and rooftops scattered with a white powdery snow. We thought we had really seen something but then later that afternoon it began to snow again and the flakes got larger and larger. Hayley's first inclination was to go outside and taste the snow flakes. We even got to make a snow man and snow angels--something I never thought we would be doing here in Texas.

Happy birthday to my sweet 3 year old Preston!! He was so excited and we had a great time together as a family opening presents and celebrating his birthday.

Sunny Cali in October

Our trip to sunny San Diego was great! We went to the Wild Animal Park, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Disneyland, and of course walked on the beach.

Happy Halloween

Hayley was a butterfly, Preston a cowboy (but he wouldn't put on his costume) and Miles a little monkey. We went to our church Trunk or Treat and then back to our house to pass out candy. We all had a great time!

I love a good nap!

Yes, he fell asleep on the chair half standing up. It's funny some of the places little kids will decide to take a little snooze--high chair, doll bassinet, and the potty are just a few I can think of.
